Mentoring is one of the most powerful connections Kinship of Tomahawk can provide our KinsKids. The statistics from MENTOR: shows that a consistent, caring adult can shape a child’s confidence, choices, and future.
Right now, 22 children are on our “Waiting for a Mentor” list hoping for a mentor to step forward.
By choosing to mentor a KinsKid, you are offering guidance, encouragement, and a sense of belonging that can change the course of a young life. While Kinship of Tomahawk provides many valuable services, mentoring remains the most meaningful and life-changing connection we can provide.
Please consider becoming a mentor. One relationship can make all the difference.

Every kid is one caring adult away from being a success story. ~Josh Shipp
Kinship of Tomahawk was established as a result of the community roundtable held by Tomahawk Together on February 14, 1997. At the end of the roundtable, a youth mentoring program and family resource center were the top two needs determined by the community.
