Phase 1: Kinship of Tomahawk Closes on the Bradley Bank Building

July 15, 2025, Kinship of Tomahawk closed on the historic Bradley Bank building completing Phase 1 of the New Home Project!! We are so grateful to each and every donor that helped us achieve this goal!!

Thank you for all of those that attended the Open House on July 22. We had an amazing time sharing our new home and vision for the building with the community. Thank you to Sweet Pies of Mine and The Windmill Ice Cream Shoppe for the delicious pie and ice cream! Also, thank you to Trig’s for the water and lemonade for our guests. We cannot wait to have our Grand Opening once the building is retrofitted for our needs.

Phase 2: Creating a Safe, Welcoming Space for KinsKids and the Community

For 28 years, Kinship of Tomahawk has provided mentoring opportunities to youth and families in our community. Over 500 children have been impacted by our programs—and today, our need to expand is greater than ever.

Kinship of Tomahawk has entered Phase 2 of our New Home. This phase focuses on retrofitting the interior space: removing teller stations, adding flooring, adding handicap accessibility, purchasing modular furniture, adding a small kitchen for easy access and much more. Please consider donating to help us meet our goal of $150,000.00 to make this space a safe, welcoming space for the KinsKids and our community.

Every kid is one caring adult away from being a success story. ~Josh Shipp

Kinship of Tomahawk was established as a result of the community roundtable held by Tomahawk Together on February 14, 1997. At the end of the roundtable, a youth mentoring program and family resource center were the top two needs determined by the community.

Kinship of Tomahawk is once again hosting the annual banquet on October 18, 2025 at Inshalla Country Club.

The majority of the proceeds donated at the banquet provides programming for our KinsKids, Tutoring, KinsKlub, Monthly Match Activities, Mentoring, Education and much more. The Dessert Auction, this year, will provide funding for the New Home projects such as retrofitting the building to create a safe space for the Kinship kids and a safe Green Space outside.

This year’s theme is: New Home on the Range-Saddling Up for the Next Chapter! Invitations were sent out a few weeks ago-tickets are selling quickly so get your registration in soon to secure your reservation. Feel free to be creative and come dressed in a Western theme or come as you are!
