Open Arms Soup Kitchen- Kinship mentors and kinskids volunteer the first Tuesday of each month at our local soup kitchen, 4:45pm til about 6:30pm, at St. Mary’s CCC. We hold doors open, greet people, help serve food, fellowship with others, and help with clean up. A free meal is included. Call/text Jenny FMI or to sign up if your willing to help.  Limited space is available. Next soup kitchen is Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019.

Kinship is Ringing the Bell for the Salvation Army Saturday, Dec .6. Kinship’s mentors and kinskids are volunteering an hour shift (10am till 5pm) to ring the bell in front of Trig’s of Tomahawk. Be on the look out for us, and help support a good cause!

Christmas Party. Sunday, Dec. 15, at Rhodeway Inn, 3pm till 6pm. Lunch, cookie decorating, card making, fun, and gifts. All kinskids and mentors ages will be celebrating at the same time. There will be no swimming.

Movie Night at the Tomahawk Cinema in January. The closer we get, the more of an idea what movie we will be viewing and on what day. Stay tuned.

Kinship will be going to Forest Springs Community Day on Sunday, Feb. 9, 1pm til 5pm. Kinship will provide all mentors and kinskids with a ticket to use their tubing hills. Also available is cross country and downhill skiing, and snowshoeing for an additional charge. Kinship will provide a warm lunch and refreshments.
